About Tim
Tim Sullivan was raised in Franklin, Tennessee. Franklin is about 20 miles south of Nashville, and in those days, it was just a small farming community. Tim started playing guitar at the age of 10 when his father taught him his first chord, C Major. Two years later at the age of 12, he wrote his first song. Tim has been writing, playing, and singing ever since.
In the 1970s, he became a country music disc jockey where he developed his love for what’s known today as classic country music. Over the years, he has performed at churches and other small venues around Franklin and Nashville. Tim grew up listening to the greats like Merle Haggard, Conway Twitty, Don Williams, Carl Smith, Chuck Berry, Mel Street, George Jones, and Buck Owens. Those individuals and many others influenced Tim and have contributed to his unique style of music.
Tim's first album, Rough Around the Edges, was released on May 15, 2024. It was the culmination of a 50 year dream.
Tim has been married to his wife for 49 years and they have 2 children and 6 grandchildren. Tim has lived in Franklin, TN all of his life but he enjoys getting down to the gulf coast every year for vacation.
